Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)

NorthWestern Energy's employee assistance program (EAP) is offered through ComPsych at no cost to you. The program provides free and confidential support to help you and your dependents manage life's daily stresses and challenges. ComPsych Guidance Resources are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The EAP offers up to six counseling sessions, per person, per issue, per year for employees, spouses and dependents. Face-to-face and online counseling, including telehealth, is available. The program also offers a variety of online resources.  Review your enrollment guide and review the information provided in the links below for additional information.

Paid Time Off

NorthWestern Energy offers a generous paid-time off benefit that will allow you to get away from work for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. The benefit is also designed to cover time off for funerals, family emergencies, personal time and to satisfy the STD benefit waiting period. The benefit levels increase based on years of service.

Adoption Assistance

NorthWestern Energy provides a generous financial assistance benefit of up to $20,000 for the adoption of a child under the age of eighteen.

NorthWestern Energy offers 11 paid holidays per year, 3 of which are designated as a floating holiday. The floating holidays are included in your PTO allotment and can be taken at any time during the year.
