TYPE: News

Billings, Mont. – Aug. 10, 2026 – NorthWestern Energy is supporting the Billings Fire Department work to strengthen emergency response capabilities in the community with a $2,000 donation to help towards the purchase of a ZOLL AutoPulse Resuscitation System.

The AutoPulse is an automated chest compression device designed to improve outcomes for cardiac arrest patients by delivering consistent, high-quality CPR during emergency response and transport.

At a recent NorthWestern Energy staff meeting the Billings Fire Department demonstrated the AutoPulse system.

"Supporting the communities we serve means investing in the people and organizations that help keep them safe," said NorthWestern Energy Community Relations Manager Molly Schwend. "We are grateful to the Billings Fire Department for sharing how this equipment is helping improve emergency response efforts and for the work they do every day to serve our community."

NorthWestern Energy is committed to supporting the communities it serves, where employees live, work and raise their families. Last year, the company provided more than $2.1 million in donations, sponsorships and other community support across its service territory, including more than $163,000 in recognition of employee volunteerism.
