NorthWestern Energy power line upgrade in downtown Great Falls will detour weekend traffic

Date: Aug 2, 2022

Great Falls, Mont. – Aug. 3, 2022 – NorthWestern Energy is upgrading power lines in downtown Great Falls.

Traffic will be detoured from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5 and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7 on 4th Street North from Central Avenue to 1st Street North. The alley between Central Avenue and 1st Avenue North from 2nd Street North to 5th Street North will be closed from the morning of Friday, Aug. 5 to the evening of Sunday, Aug. 7.

The upgraded lines will increase service reliability. Traffic interruptions during the construction work are required for the safety of the public and crews.
