It’s been said that the best time to plant a tree is yesterday – and the second-best time is today. When we plant a tree, we put down roots, leave our mark and create a legacy for future generations. Trees can be planted in memory, in celebration and in honor. But every tree adds a special element to the fabric of a community because it provides shade, cleans the air, and creates something beautiful and lasting.

This Arbor Day, we want to help customers leave a lasting mark on their families and communities through our Trees Together Legacy Tree Giveaway. Tell us why you want a Legacy Tree and you could receive a $200 gift certificate to spend at a local nursery for the tree of your choosing. One entry per household please.

  • Fill out the form on this page to tell us why you want a Legacy Tree and where you plan to plant it.
  • Our 300 Legacy Tree winners will be notified the week of April 23rd on how to get their tree packets, which will include a guide on how to plant a tree properly and safely, and a $200 gift certificate.
  • On Arbor Day, April 28, we will publicly announce the winners. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for #nwelegacytree updates.
