DSIP Studies and Reports has specifics on various electric generation/transmission projects.
DSIP The Distribution System Infrastructure Project (DSIP) was developed to address the emerging issue of aging infrastructure and prepare our systems for the next generation of technology.
GIS Project The Geographical Information System (GIS) Expansion Project was created to expand its Geographical Information System. NorthWestern Energy has hired an independent contractor, Davey Resource Group (DRG), to verify and collect data in the field to determine the presence and location of specified equipment in our GIS.
GIS Project The Jackrabbit-Big Sky project is a NorthWestern Energy project beginning construction on a multi-year, multi-million dollar project to upgrade electric transmission capacity and reliability in Gallatin County, Montana. The company is replacing the existing 69 kV transmission line between Four Corners and Big Sky with a 161 kV line in order to meet the growing demands of the local economy and cusotmer base.
