NorthWestern Energy provides natural gas and electricity services through tariffs filed with and approved by the Montana Public Service Commission (MPSC). Users of electronic tariffs should note that such tariffs are not the official documents, and users assume responsibility for reliance upon tariffs in electronic format.
Notice Regarding 50 MW QF-1 Cap
On September 29, 2011, NorthWestern Energy notified all known potential QF wind developers that it had executed 48.23 to 49.23 MWs of QF-1 wind power purchase agreements, effectively reaching the QF-1 Tariff 50 MW installed capacity limit.
Please be advised that an opening under our 50 MW limit has occurred and that NorthWestern now has the ability to sign a contract(s) for approximately 10 MW of QF wind installed capacity. For further information, please contact frank.bennett@northwestern.com or (406) 497-2536.
