Natural gas customers who replace their existing heating equipment with high efficiency equipment may qualify for rebates by participating in the E+ Natural Gas Savings Rebate Program for equipment.
The greatest portion of your energy costs can be associated with heating your home and water, so making smart decisions when replacing your your home's natural gas heating system and your natural gas water heating appliance can have a big effect on your utility bills — and your comfort.
Proper maintenance can extend the life and maintain the efficiency of your current system, but if you are looking to replace your heating system, you may want to look for the most energy efficient appliance.
Rebates for heating equipment offered under this program include high efficiency condensing boilers, high efficiency condensing furnaces, high efficiency gas room heaters, high efficiency water heaters, and gas-fired tankless water heaters. Rebates are higher when you work with a preferred heating contractor.

Eligibility: NorthWestern Energy residential customers who heat their existing homes or hot water with natural gas delivered by NorthWestern Energy are eligible to participate in the high efficiency equipment program. Customers building a new home are not eligible for rebates under this program.

Note: Boiler, furnace, gas room heater, hot water heater or tankless water heater installations under this offering require sign-off and inspection by a NorthWestern Energy Service Technician before completing the rebate application.
