Budget Billing — Pay the Same Amount Each Month
With Budget Billing, you pay the same amount each month. Budget Billing amounts are calculated based upon your past 12 months of usage and the rates currently in effect. NorthWestern Energy will review your Budget Billing amount periodically to prevent a large overpayment or underpayment from accumulating on your account. Changes may be necessary in your Budget amount due to an increase or decrease in your usage patterns and/or the rates currently in effect.

EZ Pay
Our EZ Pay program is designed to save you time by having your NorthWestern Energy monthly payment automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account on the due date of your bill. You will still receive a monthly bill statement and have time to review it, but you will not have to write a check and mail it. And best of all, it’s FREE.

- Print out the Automatic Enrollment Formand return it to us by mail or fax using the contact information listed on the form.

E-Bill
— Go Paperless and Receive Your Bill Electronically
When you combine Budget Billing with E-bill, you have a winning combination! With E-bill, you receive a detailed electronic version of the paper bill you currently receive. Instead of receiving a paper bill through the mail, you'll receive an e-mail message alerting you that a new E-bill is available for your review online. A secure log-in process and 128-bit encryption protects your online bill and ensures that only you have access to your billing information.
